How you can train your mind??

There are many books to read that can help you focus or train your mind but this is not something that you can learn from studying books.

You can only learn by doing so. once you start doing things practically you will get a more clear view.

Many of you have heard of DHYAN CHAND. let us take inspiration from his story and discover the secret of his excellence. this will help you to achieve your highest proficiency.

As a village boy, Dhyan Chand was interested in wrestling but when he joined the Indian army he was introduced to field hockey. he started playing and practicing beyond everybody else. he would put the ball on the railway tracks and run miles without permitting it to fall. day time wasn't enough for him so he started practicing at night also. most of you don't know that the original name of DHYAN CHAND was Dhyan Singh. he used to practice under the moon at night so his friends gave him the name DHYAN CHAND.

In 1994 when hockey was re-introduced into Olympics India decided to send its best team. for the Olympics India arrived in Amsterdam Netherlands. there India played against the Netherlands and won the gold medal by defeating the Netherlands by 4-1. they could not believe the mastery of DHYAN CHAND so they broke his stick to see if he has a magnet hidden in it but found nothing.

After the Olympics, DHYAN CHAND started practicing even more and enhanced his proficiency to the next level.

For the next Olympics, he arrived in the USA as a captain of the Indian hockey team. there they defeated the USA with a score of 24-1. this was the biggest score in the international match. DHYAN CHAND  scored 8 goals that day.

In Olympics in berlin, they played a friendly match against Germany which they lost. the whole team was demotivated. both Germany and India reached the finals. there India beats Germany by 8-1.

The HITLER came to Dhyan Chand and asked him what does he do he replied that I am a soldier in the Indian army. Hitler asked him about his rank replied that I am a lance naib. Hitler asked him to join the German army and there he will appoint him as a colonel. but DHYAN CHAND replied fearlessly that India is not for sale. the scientist Donald Hebb was a neural scientist whose theory is popular as Hebbian learning.

HEBBIAN LEARNING

Scientists discovered that whenever we do any work one neuron fires the next which fires next to accomplish mental and physical work. when the axon of one neuron fires a second repeatedly day after day slowly organic changes take place in both neurons which make it easier for the first axon to fire second. for e.g when we start typing at first we have to look at the keyboard and then our finger to type that word but when we get used to it we don't need to look at the keyboard. thus practicing daily our skills improves those skills and also our brain.

If you eat when you are not hungry it will cause desease similarly if you dont practice your skills it will start evaporating

Behavioral changes go through 3 stages

1.Conscious incompetence

In this stage, we struggle to learn new skills acquire a beneficial mindset, or develop good habits.

2.Conscious competence

In this stage, we can now fulfill tasks completely only by focusing complete attention on them.

3.Unconscious competence

in the final stage, we discover that we can perform task adeptly even without paying full attention to it

Hence in order to train the mind to learn anything faster, we have to keep practicing our skills.
